Indy family gets wheelchair accessible van thanks to Pacers’ Paul George

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis family raising money to purchase a wheelchair accessible van for their daughter, who has cerebral palsy was able to get purchase the van.

Thanks to Pacers’ Paul George the family got their van this week for Daisy Esterline, who has cerebral palsy.

Her family was trying to buy a wheelchair accessible van because without it she had to be lifted into a car seat to travel.

A GoFundMe account was set up for Daisy, by a friend more than a year ago, had only raised $2,000 until George stepped in. George donated $10,000 to help the family.

Her father, Howard Esterline told 24-Hour News 8 he is grateful for George’s donation and every other person who has made smaller donations along the way.
