Sen. Young speaks at Fishers Memorial Day service
FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — In Hamilton County, U.S. Sen. Todd Young took part in a Memorial Day ceremony.
The ceremony took place at the Central Green Liberty Plaza in Fishers.
As a veteran himself, the junior senator for Indiana said this day is very personal to him.
He also talked about a dear friend of his that served in the Marines who passed away in Iraq.
Young was elected to the Senate in November after serving as a U.S. House representative since 2011.
