Concerned motorist call prompts OWI arrest
PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A man was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated early Friday morning thanks to a concerned driver.
An Indiana State Police trooper was dispatched on a report of an impaired driver on I-70 in Putnam County.
The trooper spotted a vehicle swerving on the road near mile marker 43.
The driver, Kimmy E. Gable, 58, of Missouri, failed a sobriety test. It was later determined that he had a BAC level of .13 percent.
Indiana State Police want to remind motorists to call 911 to report dangerous or impaired driving.
