90-year-old woman drives through front window of Sahm’s

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It was a scary moment on Sunday when people were trying to enjoy a little brunch at Sahm’s Place on 65th Street and Keystone Avenue.

Just before noon, a car slammed into the restaurant.

Indianapolis Fire Department says a 90-year-old woman was trying to park but hit the gas instead of the break.

There were about 60 people inside the restaurant at the time.

They all got out okay.

The driver was able to get out of her car on her own — she’s okay, too.

Sahm’s Place is having a trivia night on Tuesday to help raise money to buy a new door.
